Book launchOn 20th July at Worth Abbey the book was launched. Over 200 books were sold in the first weekend, and the first feedback
was very positive. There was one which struck a chord and it came from one regular pilgrim - he said "Catherine
has done it". "What do you mean?" and he said that she has finally captured on paper what it is like
to go to Lourdes. Abigail had written in the introduction that "Reading the stories is a pilgrimage in itself".
So maybe that is what he was saying also.
A highlight of the day was the presence of Joanna Tobiasiewicz with Maks
and Bernadette to be given a copy of the book at the end of the helpers' mass by Fr Ian Byrnes, the Director of the Pilgrimage.
He said "we are so grateful to you and all the Tobiasiewicz family for your incredible
generosity in sharing the life of Gregory in the book. It is wonderful for us all to be able to re-live
his memory and have a tribute to him in this form to inspire many future generations of pilgrims."
