Thanks to the Universe for their generous coverage
This Sunday's paper has a 4 page write-up about the book by Emma Clancy, the features editor.  Lovely photos taken by John Sexton, and lots of faces from the Lourdes pilgrimage.

Book presentation to Holly, Joe and Julia

These 2 photos, taken by Lacaze at the first mass in the Church of St Bernadette on Friday 25 July, show Holly (with Joy and helper, Ed Constable) being presented a copy of the book by Bishop Kieran; and Joe Collard, accompanied by Tom Wright, doing the same.  Julia also received a book on behalf of her brother, Harry Hughes.

Book launch

On 20th July at Worth Abbey the book was launched.  Over 200 books were sold in the first weekend, and the first feedback was very positive.  There was one which struck a chord and it came from one regular pilgrim - he said "Catherine has done it".  "What do you mean?" and he said that she has finally captured on paper what it is like to go to Lourdes.  Abigail had written in the introduction that "Reading the stories is a pilgrimage in itself". So maybe that is what he was saying also.

A highlight of the day was the presence of Joanna Tobiasiewicz with Maks and Bernadette to be given a copy of the book at the end of the helpers' mass by Fr Ian Byrnes, the Director of the Pilgrimage.  He said "we are so grateful to you and all the Tobiasiewicz family for your incredible generosity in sharing the life of Gregory in the book.  It is wonderful for us all to be able to re-live his memory and have a tribute to him in this form to inspire many future generations of pilgrims."
